Duluth, Minn. (NNCNOW.com) --Ten women celebrated their accomplishments toward living a healthier lifestyle at the Go Red For Women Luncheon in Duluth.

The women participated in a challenge to help spread awareness about heart disease which is the number one killer of women.

Since December, the Go Red participants have been learning how to eat and exercise to get on track toward a healthier heart.

More than 400 people attended the luncheon in celebration of woman's heart health.

"I knew I needed help, I was eating very badly and I knew I needed to get my exercise regimen more on track," said Challenge Participant, Kim Stern. "It has completely done that for me. Both things are completely in line and I couldn't be happier."

Stern also won a gym membership to help keep her on track to her goal.
