Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- Nearly twenty seven hundred Northlanders won't have to feel guilty about helping themselves to seconds on Thanksgiving.

They took to the streets of Downtown Duluth to take part in the Gobble Gallop race Thanksgiving morning.

The Gallop hosted four different race events for all ages throughout the morning, with titles such as the Gobble Giddy-Up, the Tough Turkey, the Gobble Gait, and the largest of the four- the Gobble Gallup 5-K

The Executive Director of the Gobble Gallop says people from 20 states signed up for this year's race.

"It's on Thanksgiving so it ruins a little bit of the guilt of overeating later in the day and sitting around watching football all day," said Clint Agar, Executive Director of the race, and Co-Owner of Duluth Running Co.

All proceeds raised through the race will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
