Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth is one of five cities in the country to receive a grant which will help teach CPR.
Cities of Service and the American Heart Association has given Duluth 500 CPR training kits.
Along with training, residents are provided a kit that teaches hands–only CPR and asked to sign a pledge to train others.
City officials say they plan to train 3,000 people.
"The kits come equipped with everything people need to have in order to learn and to teach to their friends and family hands–only CPR," said Volunteer Coordinator Cheryl Skafte.
The next CPR training will be held at six p.m. Monday, May 12 at City Center West.
