Grizzly cubs attract crowds at Duluth Boat, Sport and Travel Show

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Thousands of people beat the winter blues this weekend at the Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel and RV show.

More than 200 vendors filled the DECC, pushing their goods, from fishing and hunting gear, to motorcycles, campers, wooden flowers or specialty foods.

Two 6-week-old Grizzly cubs, each about 6 pounds, attracted crowds.

Gregg Woody and his wife, owners of Woody's Menagerie travel across the country to teach people about the animals and spread awareness of protecting the environment.

The ones in the wild need to stay there and the ones in captivity, we can learn from them and be familiar with the kind of creatures that they are,” Woody said.

Woody and his wife are currently raising 15 bear cubs.

The Boat, Travel, Sport and RV show brings in about $25 M for the regional economy.
