Grand Marais, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- A group is attempting to unseat Cook County Attorney Tim Scannell following a scandal involving his alleged relationship with a 17-year-old girl.
A facebook group called "Let's get Tim Scannell out of Office" has posted their intent to file a petition to oust the Cook County Attorney.
The Minnesota Secretary of State says to file such a petition, signatures comprising 25 percent of the vote that elected Scannell in the last election, must be gathered.
Scannell came under fire last week after a restraining order surfaced, from the parents of a 17-year-old, accusing Scannell of harassment and stalking.
