Guilty Plea Entered in Connection with Fond du Lac Murder

Carlton, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- The woman accused of aiding a murder suspect, after the fact has pleaded guilty in Carlton County court.

According to County Attorney Thom Pertler, Alyssa Peterson entered a guilty plea on three charges including being an accomplice after the fact in connection with the murder of Cristyna Watson on the Fond du Lac Reservation.

Pertler says a sentencing date has been set tentatively for June.

Police say Cristyna Watson was missing for about a month before authorities found her found body outside a home on the Fond du Lac Reservation in October of 2012.
