Carlton County, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- A Cloquet woman pleaded guilty today to her role in a fatal car crash that killed two Carlton County workers in October of 2012.

28-year-old Vanessa Brigan was charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide after her car collided with a county truck killing Zach Gamache and Mitchell Lingren.

In court Tuesday, Brigan accepted responsibility for their deaths.
At the time of the crash authorities found the drug methadone and used syringes in Brigan's car.

As part of a plea deal, Brigan will serve a total of six years in prison with credit for time already served.

She will also be put on probation once she is released from prison.

Brigan will be sentenced on April 14.
