Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- A judge ruled on Thursday to uphold charges against a Superior man accused of biting his baby eleven times. On May 15, 24–year–old Byron Benson was charged with one count of physical abuse of a child with the intent to cause bodily harm.

The criminal complaint says the baby had bite marks on both legs, a large bruise and abrasions on his left cheek, a faint bite mark on his nose, a bite mark on his right cheek and a deep bite mark on his right shoulder.

Benson eventually admitted to authorities that he had bitten the baby. Benson will be back in court on July 11.
