Hermantown, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- After a big win at the polls on Tuesday, the Hermantown School Board is taking the next steps on the voter approved long range facilities plan for the district.
In a special meeting tonight, members formed a committee to over-see the first steps of the 49 million dollar plan.
The goal of the committee will be to decide what kind of company they want to hire to take on the projects.
The committee will be made up of three board members along with interested community members.
"Our Superintendent Brad Johnson is contacting those people and letting them know tonight and tomorrow what the scope of the committee will be, and that the scope will be to determine the service delivery model," said Boar Chair, Deanna Gronseth.
The board hopes to hear from the committee on Nov. 25 about what kind of construction model they should go with.
