Hibbing Short Stop gas station robbed at gunpoint, police looking for suspect

Hibbing, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Hibbing Police are asking for your help in identifying an armed robbery suspect who held up the Short Stop Gas Station in Hibbing Saturday evening.

According to authorities, at approximately 6:20 PM Saturday, an unidentified man brandished a small black and silver handgun at the Short Stop cashier and demanded cash.

The suspect was approximately 6 feet tall, wearing light colored jeans, white shoes, a black sweatshirt, and a white and black bandana around his face.

He left on foot shortly after with an undisclosed amount of cash.

An immediate search of the area was conducted by authorities, but the man has not been located as of yet.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
