Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Motorists traveling on Highway 210 in Thomson will be restricted to a single lane the Thomson Bridge beginning Monday, May 13.
The work began last summer following June's severe flooding, which destroyed a 9 foot diameter overflow culvert located adjacent to the bridge.
Beginning on May 13, the remaining work on the project will start. The finishing work includes concrete surface finishing, placement of an epoxy chip seal on the bridge deck and painting.
A temporary signal system will be in place to direct motorists to take turns crossing the bridge. The single-lane traffic will remain in place until the project is done.
Work is expected to be completed on June 14.
