Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Repair work will start on May 20 on Highway 23 in Fond Du Lac.
Crews will begin repairing drainage structures and make pavement and sidewalk repairs. The work is being done to repair damage caused by last June's historic flooding and to also mitigate any future damage.
Beginning on May 20, both directions of traffic will be shifted to the northbound lanes while work is completed on the southbound lanes. Traffic will remain in this configuration for at least one week. After the southbound lane is done, both directions of traffic will then be shifted to the southbound lanes while work is completed on the northbound lanes. Traffic will remain this way for another two to three weeks.
The entire repair project is expected to be completed by the middle of June.
