February 14, 2013 Updated Feb 14, 2013 at 1:47 PM CDT

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- After concerns that the October Honor Flight would be the last to fly Northland veterans to Washington, D.C., officials announce that they have been able to schedule another trip.

Honor Flight Northland has added another trip to Washington, D.C. out of Duluth on Saturday June 8th, 2013 for WWII veterans that have not seen their memorial at the nation's capitol.

Honor Flight coordinators are currently looking for WWII veterans from Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin to attend this trip.

Back in November, Honor Flight Northland received a generous $10,000 donation from the Lakewood American Legion to go towards another trip. Coordinators of the flight are still looking for donations to help set up more trips down the road.

For those interested, you can apply at the Honor Flight Northland website or call 218-409-6110.
