The ticket matched the five numbers drawn, along with the Hot Ball and the holder now just needs to claim their $2.61 million dollar prize.
This is Minnesota's 9th Hot Lotto jackpot winner since the game began in 2002.
Just weeks ago a Duluth man won millions after he matched his ticket in the Gopher 5 lottery game.
