Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth school district has won a national school communication award.
ISD 709 will receive the 2014 Gold Medallion Award for it's “Think Kids” initiative.
The award given by the National School Public Relations Association recognizes superior education, public relations programs and campaigns.
ISD 709 Superintendent Bill Gronseth expressed thanks to all citizens who participated in the Think Kids initiative,
“It’s amazing what can be accomplished when people from our city, business, non-profit and education communities work together in support of Duluth’s public schools,” said Gronseth.
NSPRA says each year, its judge’s look for special programs, projects and campaigns that combine “insightful assessment, superb planning, creative communication and careful evaluation.”
