Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - For all lakes that border Wisconsin and Minnesota, along with all water south of a line formed by Highways 2 and 200, the deadline has already passed.
All ice houses north of that line have until March 18th to be removed.
All Canadian border waters have until the 31st to clear off the ice.
The DNR urges ice anglers not to wait until the last weekend to clear camp, however.
Citations for missing the deadlines for ice house and debris removal run about a hundred dollars.
