-- Charges of intoxicated homicide have been amended to a lesser crime against a 29-year-old Hayward woman.
Gina Trepanier was accused of striking 47-year-old Cynthia Gordon with her car, while intoxicated in 2009. Gordan died at a Hayward hospital and died from multiple injuries.
Trepanier plead no contest to driving while intoxicated in a Sawyer County courtroom. Prosecuting attorneys could not prove her car caused the death of Gordan.
Trepanier must pay a fine and will lose her license for nine moths.
