NASHWAUK, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---County Roads and Highways on the Iron Range remain closed after severed thunderstorms and floods hit the region yesterday.

Roadsides on parts of the Iron Range saw as much as five inches of water.

Guardrails, pavement and culvert damage in seven locations from Nashwauk to Togo have kept Highway 65 closed.

A portion of Highway One is also closed due to flooding that caused a culvert washout between Highway 73 and 65.

Minnesota Department of Transportation crews are working to repair the roads as water recedes.

Roads will reopen as soon as it is safe for motorists.
