NEW YORK, NY --- The year was 1998. Rockland County, NY, just north of Manhattan, was celebrating its bicentennial. That's where Kevin grew up.
Kevin had the chance to sail on the HMS Bounty as part of an art class he was taking in school. The Bounty, featured in the 1960s movie "Mutiny on the Bounty" set sail from Battery Park in New York to Haverstraw, NY. It was one of several large tall ships in a parade making its way up the Hudson.
Several members of the military and students were on board for the fun adventure that lasted close to 12 hours.
