Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- Kids used Legos to build their own tiny towns at the Duluth Library this afternoon.

The library received donated Legos from the community and also purchased some for kids to build their own creations.

Kids were encouraged to build something from space or use their own imagination.

"It does lay the foundation for mathematical thinking and creativity and problem solving, and you know Legos are fun. So we want people to associate the library with fun things to do," said Nancy Eaton, who is on the community services staff at the Duluth Public Library.

This is the first of three Lego programs that will be held at the library through out the summer.
