Duluth, Minn (NNCNOW.com) -- Engineering Students at Lake Superior College put their robots to the test on Wednesday.

LSC Integrated Manufacturing students designed robots to perform a task and go through an obstacle course.

The task is to pick up nuts and transport them to a bucket on the other side of the course.

Students worked on this project all semester as a team.

"Getting an idea from just a group and then hammering it down to one idea that was one really hard thing. The second thing was actually getting that idea into a three dimensional object, making it work, making it move," said Anthony Koenig who created the robot "Clamp."

The robots were judged based and how many nuts they could put in the bucket within a time limit.
