Large police response for suicide incident near Duluth Airport

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A large police presence Tuesday afternoon near the Duluth airport and the 148th Fighter Wing forced several businesses to close early.

Duluth Police say the incident involved a 75-year-old man who committed suicide just off airport road near Bulldog Boulevard.

A call originated to police at 3:40 p.m.

The Minnesota Border Patrol and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department also responded.
