Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Food, silent auctions, and musical performances were all part of a fundraiser to help raise money for the Northland's Volunteer Attorney Program.
The nonprofit organization provides people with low-incomes pro bono civil legal services.
Organizers of the second annual Law Law Palooza Fundraiser in Duluth say it's exciting to see attorneys and judges out of their "work element," playing music with their bands, and socializing.
"It's not a typical event in the legal community. It's a chance for everyone to come together in a more fun setting for a cause that we all believe in," said Dori Streit, executive director of the program.
Those with the VAP say there is a large gap in civil legal services for low-income families, and they hope to fill that gap.
