Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --The city of Duluth has been served a complaint alleging law enforcement has been illegally viewing driver's license information.

The case has been filed with the United States District Court for Minnesota.

The complaint alleges 73 different entities have violated the rights of 18 plaintiffs by improperly accessing their driver's license information.

According to the complaint, this has happened 600 times between 2003 and 2013.

Duluth city attorney Gunnar Johnson says it is too early to make a statement on the allegations.

The city has 21 days to respond to the complaint.
