Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The 1600 block of Jefferson Street in Duluth was alive with entertainment Saturday as Twin Ports community members came together to celebrate Loaves & Fishes Community's 25th anniversary this weekend.

Music, screen printing, and tie–dying were some of the activities enjoyed by Northlanders on site earlier Saturday afternoon.

Loaves & Fishes is a community based organization that deals with the tough homelessness issues that Duluth faces.

The organization was started by late Commissioner Steve O'Neil and his wife Angie.

"Its such an incredible celebration, and its neat to see so many people gathered to be a part of this community," said Chelsea Froemke, of Loaves & Fishes, "and I think that, of course, Steve would be enjoying every minute of it, and is deeply missed at events like this, and during day to day life."
