St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Longtime Minnesota Representative Thomas Huntley of Duluth, was honored by his collogues and constituents this morning at "Duluth and St. Louis County Day at the Capitol" Legislative Breakfast.

An honorary proclamation was given to the 11-term DFL member of the House by Lt. Governor Yvonne Prettner Solon, who said Huntley has served with compassion and empathy and that the people of Duluth, the Arrowhead, and the state of Minnesota have greatly benefitted from his leadership in public service.

Governor Dayton was also in attendance.

Representative Huntley announced late last year that he would not seek a 12th term in the Minnesota House in 2014.
