St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) -The Minnesota Court of Appeals will hear a lawsuit Wednesday involving the Department of Natural Resources and the wolf hunt.
The group Howling for Wolves claims the DNR failed to obtain a public comment for the inaugural wolf hunting and trapping season.
Both Howling for Wolves and The Center for Biological Diversity filed suit last September.
The conservation groups sought a preliminary injunction to prevent the opening of hunting and trapping until a decision in the case had been made.
The court shot that injunction down.
