St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Minnesota Senate is expected to take up the Marriage Equality bill Monday at noon, according to Senate staffers.
The House approved the same bill Thursday in a 75-59 vote.
The floor debate drew thousands of people for and against the contentious issue.
Should the Senate approve the bill, Minnesota would become the 12th state to legalize gay marriage.
Governor Mark Dayton has said he'll sign the bill.
