MN home health care workers vote to unionize

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The ballots have been counted and Minnesota home care workers have agreed to unionize.

The Bureau of Mediation Services tallied the votes and certified the victory, with 60% of voters casting yes ballots.

The results were announced at the Minnesota State Fair Labor Pavilion.

The workers care for the disabled and elderly.

They will join the Service Employees International Union.
