Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Richard Ellery Morisett, Jr. of Superior, has been sentenced to life in prison, without the chance for parole, by the Douglas County court.

While already a registered sex offender, Morisett was sentenced on April 1, 2013 for two counts of incest with a child, one count of child exploitation and another count of possession of child pornography.

Several of the charges include the legal provision of persistent repeater due to Morisett's previous convictions. Morisett had been convicted of serious child sex offenses in January 1996 and November 1998.

The Lake Superior Forensic Technology and Internet Crimes against Children Task Force worked diligently to get Morisett locked up for life.
