Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The Duluth Rotary Club 25 annual rose sale generates more than half of the funds the club gives away through grants.

Last year the rotary club donated just under $190,000 to Northland charities and projects with about $60,000 stemming from the rose sales.

One of the beneficiaries is Kids Closet. The organization provides free school clothes for children in early childhood through fifth grade.

Last year the closet received $5,000 from the Rotary Club's rose fundraiser.
