Making a Difference: Scott Lyons

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Scott Lyons began his career as a beat cop in Duluth in 1976 moving up to become the city's chief of police.

After he retired he became the Law Enforcement Training Coordinator at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet.

Over the past 11 years he has taught or mentored hundreds of students who are now serving in communities across the nation.

Scott Lyon's retired this summer from the College, but not before putting his mark on the program.
