Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A snowmobile accident on the North Shore Trail injured a 46–year–old man Saturday.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the man was traveling with a group on the trail about 1.5 miles north of Normanna Road when he was thrown from his snowmobile on an icy corner of the trail.
Authorities say the man struck his helmet to his chest when he hit the ground.
Authorities say he reported chest pain and possibly a broken rib.
No one else was reportedly involved in the accident.
