Man arrested in Arkansas in connection with New Year's Eve bank robbery

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Federal authorities have arrested a man in connection with a New Year's Eve bank robbery in Duluth after they found him in Arkansas.

FBI Agents and West Memphis local authorities took a 35 year old suspect into custody at a residence in West Memphis, Arkansas for the robbery at U.S. Bank in Duluth.

On December 31st, Duluth police were called to the bank along Superior Street on the report of a robbery. An initial investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank and demanded money. The man allegedly said he had a gun in the bag he was carrying, however he did not pull out the gun.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect remains in federal custody.
