Man arrested on heroin, child endangerment charges

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- Authorities have arrested a man in connection with selling heroin out of a Duluth motel and endangering a child who was staying in the room.

On Thursday, investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Task Force and the Duluth Police Department executed a search warrant at a motel in the 300 block of East Superior Street.

31-year-old Carvell Robinson was arrested for second degree sale of heroin.

investigators found seven grams of heroin and twenty eight hundred dollars in cash in his possession.

A 25-year-old female believed to be an associate of Robinson's was arrested on a warrant

her five year old daughter was staying in the room with her and Robinson while he was selling heroin.

Additional charges are pending on her relating to the drug investigation and child endangerment.

Robinson is currently on probation in Saint Louis County for 2nd Degree Sale of Crack Cocaine.

He was out on bail in Douglas County where he is charged with 7 counts of Delivery/Sale of Heroin and two counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

He was also out on bail in Saint Louis County for 3rd Degree Sale of Heroin.

Robinson is currently in the Saint Louis county jail pending charges of second degree sale of heroin and child endangerment.
