Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The man accused of starting the third fire at the Kozy Bar and Apartments in Duluth has pleaded guilty.
56-year-old Mark Starkovich has pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor negligent fire charge.
The trespassing charge Starkovich faced was dropped.
Duluth firefighters responded to the third fire at the Kozy last April.
The damage was estimated at well over 2,500 dollars.
Surveillance video showed what authorities say was Starkovich breaking into the laundry room of the Kozy.
It was in that room that the blaze started.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the laundry room.
In the criminal complaint, Starkovich admits to trespassing inside the Kozy and smoking marijuana while inside, but he told police he did not intentionally start the fire.
He will be sentenced in April.
