Man rescued from roof after significant electrical shock

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Rescue crews were called to Duluth's Lincoln Park Neighborhood this afternoon after a man sustained a significant electrical shock.

The man was working on the roof of a building at the intersection of 22nd Ave. W and 2nd St. at the time of the accident.

Neighbors reported a loud bang and a brief loss of electrical power to their homes. Firefighters used their ladder truck to reach the victim.

Despite sustaining an electrical shock the man was conscious and conversing with firefighters. The extent of his injuries is not known.
