Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Much of Minnesota may have been spared from this latest round of snow, but many across Northern Wisconsin are once again digging out.
According to reports from NOAA, Ashland, WI so far has received 16.2 inches of snow, parts of Sawyer County has gotten 14.2 inches, Barron has 13 inches and Iron has 10.6 inches of snow.
Officials from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are urging motorists to refrain from traveling unless absolutely necessary due to the heavy, wet snow.
This band of snow and rain mix is expected to continue throughout the day on Thursday. However, due to drier air to the west, the Twin Ports and the western half of the area will remain dry with no snow or rain accumulation expected.
Check out these pictures we're getting from viewers of the snow that continues to fall even into May.
