St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A bill legalizing medical marijuana in Minnesota could hit the Senate floor for a vote as early as Tuesday.
The Senate Finance Committee approved the controversial measure Monday, the last hurdle before a full vote.
The measure allows people suffering from cancer, epilepsy and glaucoma to access medical marijuana if their doctors recommend it.
It also calls for a clinical trial of the issue.
The House is hearing a bill that calls solely for a study of the medical marijuana debate.
