Northlanders Celebrate Fourth Fest at Mighty Thomas Carnival

DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---Fourth of July celebrations continue throughout the weekend.

The Mighty Thomas Carnival is well underway.

Despite on and off rain showers Friday, many people are still coming out to celebrate at the Fourth Fest Celebration at the DECC at Bayfront Park.

The Mighty Thomas Carnival was founded in 1928 in South Dakota by a man named Thomas Lennox.

The carnival now travels to 10 states and can offer up to 50 different rides and games.

The festival runs until 11:00 p.m. Friday and continues Saturday starting at 1:00.
