Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Miller Hill Mall in Duluth is now featuring Essentia Health's large inflatable colon to help raise cancer awareness.

Colon cancer is the third most common form of cancer in Americans.

It's also the number two leading cause of cancer related death for men and women.

But officials say it's treatable and beatable, and if caught in time, 90% preventable.

"We've got to do something different. If we're really wanting to promote colon cancer awareness we can't sit and just give information. But my sister had to one-up me. She said, 'we have a giant colon.' I'm like: I'm going to get a giant colon!" said program manager Colleen Baggs.

March is colorectal awareness month.
