Propane hotline receives 800 calls from Minnesotans within first three days

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A state hotline set up to help Minnesotans manage the propane shortage has handled over 800 calls within the first three days of operation.

According to the State Emergency Operations Center, 250 of those calls came on Saturday alone. Minnesotans calling continue to express concerns about the price and availability of propane from their suppliers.

Some callers said they were unable to afford minimum orders, and needed help finding resources. The hotline will remain open Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information please click here.
