Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A ski lift chair that wound up missing from the Chester Bowl ski hill has been returned.
According to Thom Storm, Executive Director of Chester Bowl Improvement Club, chair number 12 was reported stolen last week while it was waiting to undergo repairs.
It would have cost $14,000 to get a new chair.
But early Monday morning, the chair was found lying along the road near the ski hill entrance in two pieces.
Storm expects to have the chair back up in the next couple of days, and says it will not have an impact on the upcoming ski season.
