MnDOT Seeking Public Input on State Highway Plan

St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting statewide meetings on the 20-year Minnesota State Highway Investment Plan.

The public and stakeholders are invited to participate in the development of the investment plan at meetings that begin on October 4.

MnDOT says that public input at the meetings is an important factor that will help influence the department's priorities over the next 20 years.

Each of the meetings will take three hours and will begin with an overview presentation and public input session.

As open house will follow with oppotunities to participate in interactive exercises and staff.

A meeting in Duluth is scheduled for October 11 from 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the MnDOT District 1 Headquarters on Mesaba Avenue.
