Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Duluth's iconic lift bridge could soon be lighting up like a rainbow, one color at a time.
Last year, the Aerial Lift Bridge turned pink for Breast Cancer awareness. It was a huge success with photos of the pink lift bridge going viral on the internet.
On Monday, the Duluth City Council will entertain a resolution that would open the door for groups to bath the bridge in the color of their cause.
The first step would be to set a policy to review and implement requests by organizations.
Any lighting work would have to be done by qualified lighting professionals.
