Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Car enthusiasts are polishing their hot rods and are ready to show them off this weekend.

Set-up began Thursday for the 45th Annual World of Wheels Motorhead Madness Car Show at the DECC.

More than 115 classic cars from all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan will be showcased at the event.. the oldest being a Chevrolet from 1923.

Organizers say the event is a good way to help kick the winter blues.

"WITH THE WEATHER WE'VE BEEN HAVING, WE'RE NOT GETTING A WHOLE LOT OF SPRING BUT MAYBE YOU CAN THINK SPRING OR SUMMER BY COMING DOWN AND TAKING A LOOK AT THE CAR," said Motor Madness chairman, Dale Sohlstrom.

The event is expected to draw in nearly 10 thousand people.

Motorhead Madness runs Friday thru Sunday at the DECC and tickets are 11 dollars, with children under 5 free.
