Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - The annual Circle of Native Nations Pow Wow celebrated its 24th year.

The event held at the University of Wisconsin Superior featured traditional drums and dancing. Organizers say the tradition is important for keeping their culture going.

"I really think it's important for us to keep our culture alive and keep it going and that's kind of what a pow wow does. It keeps us together," said Caitylnn Leino of Circle of Native Nations.

The Circle of Native Nations in conjunction with the First Nations Center at UWS hosted the Pow Wow.
