Neighbors Reaching out to Help Gordon Fire Victims

Gordon, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Businesses are already pulling together to help the victims of the Gordon Fire.

The Lumbermen's Inn in Iron River has offered all of their rooms to victims of the fires free of charge. 27 rooms are available at this time. If you are in need of a room, you can contact them at (715)372-4515. An account has also been set up at Security State Bank in Iron River to help pay for the rooms at the Lumbermen's Inn.

Forest Point Resort and Golf Course in Gordon is also opening up their resort to victims free of charge. You can contact them at (715)-376-2322.

Also, Superior Fuel Company is going to donate 5 cents for every gallon of propane distributed out of their Barnes, Wisconsin plant for the next month.

They also hope to hold a cook out in Barnes to collect donations for those impacted by the fires.

If you wish to donate, the Wisconsin Red Cross has asked that you contact them at 1-877-618-6628.
