Nine Charged in Iron Range Drug Investigation (With Photos)
Virginia, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Numerous narcotics investigations conducted over the past few months on the Iron Range have resulted in charges against nine people. The ages of the nine suspects range from 19 to 56-years-old. Charges include everything from possession of meth to exposing a child to methamphetamine. Here are the individuals charged: Timson Ray Carrier Jr, of Eveleth, charged with two felony counts of 2nd degree sales of a controlled substance in a park zone (heroin), and three felony counts of 3rd degree sales of a controlled substance (heroin) . Ricky Leroy Knaffla,of Iron, charged with one felony count of 5th degree possession of meth and a gross misdemeanor charge of driving after cancellation Bradley Keith Smith, of Aurora, charged with one felony count of 3rd degree sales of a controlled substance (heroin). Ashley Marie Hansen and Ryan Jeffrey Shoen, both of Chisholm, charged with 5th degree possession of meth, felony count of exposing a child to methamphetamine paraphernalia, misdemeanor count of posession of drug paraphernalia. Zeb David Pickar, of Eveleth, charged with one felony count of 3rd degree sales of methamphetamine. Bart John Ziebarth, charged with two felony counts of 2nd degree posession of meth, and 4th degree possession of prescription medications Alicia Nicole Cooper, of Virginia, charged with one felony count of 3rd degree sale of heroin. Jonathan Morin, of Mt. Iron, charged with two felony counts of 5th degree sales of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (also marijuana). The investigation was conducted by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and the Boundary Waters Drug Task Force.
