Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Works of art from nearly 100 of the Northland's most talented artists were on display this weekend at Duluth's Glensheen Mansion.
Glensheen's 18th annual Festival of Fine Art and Craft drew thousands to its historic estate.
A glass blower, painter and blacksmith demonstrated their crafts to visitors.
Event organizers say the festival is put on each year to inspire and showcase Northland artists.
"The Festival of Fine Art and Crafts fulfills Gelnsheen's mission which is to inspire by preserving and sharing the legacy," Lori Melton, Marketing Director said. "It's what the Congdon's envisioned when they donated Glensheen to UMD. So we are fulfilling our mission but we are also supporting arts and artists which is also something we really believe here at Glensheen."
More than 3,000 people turned out to the art festival this weekend.
